"In regards to the UK Top Live Performance we are honored because so much great talent has performed in the UK especially in 2009. To be chosen above all those talented musicians we feel privileged. The show at the Colliery Club was La Excelencia's first UK performance ever for those that didn't know. On our arrival in London we were immediately driven to Coventry in the Midlands. Arriving at the Colliery Club were announced and the curtains opened to a packed house! It felt so good to see the love from the Midlands UK the night was amazing. We fed off the energy from the crowd to the point that we melted the fuse at Colliery Club and had to improvise on the spot; thus our "Unidad Pa' los Rumberos" was born."
